In Science children are learning about famous scientists! We found out about their lives, their research, and what has inspired them to begin their work in this area. We talked about the passion that they put into Science and a life time dedicated helping others. Alexander Fleming, who discovered penicillin- the first antibiotic and Stephen William Hawking- who worked on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. The children were inspired by these people and they said they would also like to do something meaningful when they will grow up.
