We focus on preparing children for life’s challenges, therefore we give feedback regarding the child’s overall development: academically and socially. At MISB we go beyond in-classroom, subject learning. We encourage the growth of the entire self, and watch our students flourish in both academic success and personal confidence.
In addition to traditional classroom learning, we organize visits to museums, theatres, and trips to other interesting locations, such as climbing gyms and forest reserves. These trips go hand-in-hand with our academic goals, as out-of-classroom activities are designed to expose students to the applied part of learning.
With the help of diverse and modern teaching principles, the Primary programme at MISB follows the goals of the British National Curriculum, within both Key Stage 1 (KS1 – Year 1 and Year 2) and Key Stage 2 (KS2 – Years 3, 4, 5, and 6). As our students grow, so does our school. Eventually, MISB will add Key Stage 3 (KS3 – Years 7, 8, and 9). If you’d like to inquire about any of our levels, including KS3, please contact us.
Daily, each primary class studies the core subjects of English, maths, science, topic, and PSHE, as well as Romanian language. Weekly, our students also flex their creative and physical muscles to enjoy classes such as art, music, IT, and sports, as well as dance (KS1) and German (KS2).
The Primary programme’s educational approach is to introduce a challenging academic environment that supports and encourages children of all levels. Here at MISB, students are confident in their educational journey and aren’t afraid to try new approaches, ask questions, or make mistakes. Rather, they learn through the guidance of their teachers to stretch their abilities and reach their individual bests.
