Our Summer School programme is a popular hit each year. Students from MISB, as well as other public and private institutions, join together to enjoy themed weeks of activities, as well as field trips and free play. Our Summer Programme is designed by our international leadership team which has over 15 years’ experience in international education.
For 2022, our weekly themes include:
- Animal Planet
- Space
- Nature
- Under the sea
- Dinosaurs
- Pirates and Mermaids
During Summer School, our native teachers focus on individual
students’ needs, helping them to learn or improve their English language skills while having fun with our weekly themes. Students of all levels of English are welcome!
All the activities are fully supervised by our trained teaching staff, and every week there is a field trip in or near the city.
Additionally, students eat hot, homemade meals prepared by our in-house chef and served in our cafeteria.
We invite interested families to contact us or schedule a visit to discuss which week(s) would be best for you. We look forward to seeing you at MISB this summer!

Each day is dedicated to a specific animal. Campers will build crafts, create unique animal art work, learn songs, play games, and do other activities to learn all about different animals.
And because this theme requires some “habitats”, campers will also spend time outdoors exploring our play area, the park, and on our field trip.
Get ready to roar, squeak, and slither your way through Animal Planet Week!

What’s the coolest superhero ever? Our bet is that it doesn’t even exist yet!
Campers will flex their (creative) muscles and brainstorm the perfect superhero. Each day, a new element will be added, such as a name and backstory, super powers, a cape and costume, an emblem, and the perfect superhero weapon. At the end of the week, students will share their amazing superheroes with their peers.
And don’t worry, there’s no kryptonite at MISB!

We have yet to meet a kid who doesn’t enjoy the sticky, the ooey, and the gooey. This week, campers will explore their senses and delight in sticky, tactile experiences. Making slime and play-doh, playing in the mud, splashing in water to clean off… these are just examples of the gooey fun we’ll have!
In the afternoon, campers will receive large sheets of paper for outdoor finger painting and enjoy frozen fruit juice popsicles as a snack. Sticky yet delicious.

Well, shiver me timbers, is that a mermaid I see?!
This week, campers will have fun pretending to be pirates and mermaids. They will participate in treasure hunts, outdoor-themed games, pirate and mermaid crafts, and painting activities.
If you’ve ever wanted to explore your adventurous side and experience what life is like for pirates and mermaids, then “Argh Matey!”, this camp is for you!

Hear ye, hear ye; Get ready for a week of royal adventures!
Campers will start the week with a ceremonial crowning of the princesses and dubbing of the knights to prepare for an extravagant treasure hunt. Maps will be necessary.
Other royal musings will include funny royal-themed games, songs related to proper royal families, crafting knights-and-princess-related items such as crowns and swords, and free-play to act out their latest battles.

For the little Van Goghs out there, we have a week of different types and styles of art. Campers will paint with brushes, fingers (and maybe toes!), pencils, dots, sponges, and other types of materials to create artistic and expressive pieces.
Campers will feel a sense of pride as they discover how vast their inner-creative truly is. Additionally, they will learn about different styles of art, including modern art, Renaissance art, graffiti art, etc.
