Mr. Sam is from Northern Ireland – proudly making him both Irish and British – and began his pedagogical journey in Barcelona in 2010, where he started honing his teaching skills against the backdrop of the heady Spanish culture. He subsequently graduated from the University of Manchester in 2012 with a First Class degree in Spanish Studies, subsequently obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Language Teaching and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) . Since then, his career has led him across the globe, teaching Spanish, French, English and Drama to infants all the way to senior citizens. Most recently, he took charge of Spanish teaching in a prestigious Singaporean college for 6 years, prior to which he delivered English lessons in the balmy Malaysian tropics. He is very excited to be joining MISB and looks forward to knowing his young students, as well as the intriguing Romanian culture, in the coming weeks and months.
